If you – or anyone you know – have problems reading a newspaper because of impaired vision or a physical disability, the Andover Talking Newspaper may be able to help. We are a registered charity that provides weekly audio recordings taken mainly from the Andover Advertiser, and occasionally other publications, covering Andover and the area immediately around, as far as Whitchurch, Stockbridge and Tidworth.
If you are visually impaired our weekly recording can be sent to you (and returned by you) post-free on an easy-to-use USB stick. We can also provide, free of charge, a speaker box which will play the stick, or you can use your own device. The loan of a speaker box is only available if you live in Andover or the immediate surrounding area.
If you know someone visually impaired who no longer lives in the Andover area, but would be interested in our recordings, we can post it to them, too (UK only).
Request your USB stick of the latest recording ...
Note: USB sticks must be returned within 3 weeks of receiving via the free Royal Mail service.
If you have any questions at all about using our service or if we can help in any way please contact us by email or calling 07980 636910.
